Barnes & Noble titles are yet another riddle. ![]() Swipe incorrectly and you've bought something you might not even want. In my case, Amazon titles and my Kindle are almost too easy. Thinks get even more interesting with books you buy and your device. It's cumbersome, but it works pretty consistently. You add your book to Calibre, convert to the device's file format (mobi in this case, I think). Calibre is the bridge (at least in Windows) from PC to device. The problem is you can't do that if you own a Kindle (which I now own) at least I can't find a way from Adobe to my device. You can drag and drop those to your Nook or Kobo reader, or read them on your PC. ![]() ![]() Adobe Digital Editions creates the ".epub" file. You download what you borrowed as an ".ascm" file on your PC. We can borrow books from public libraries via a system called OverDrive. Owners of certain e-readers are in a difficult situation.
